Can XD100 oil be used on any engine?

XD100 oil is specifically designed for Evinrude E-TEC engines. For some E-TEC engines under 90 HP, the ECU needs to be set for XD100 instead of the standard XD50. This will reduce oil consumption and smoke.

If my E-TEC engine's ECU is not set for XD100, will using it cause damage?

No, it will not cause damage. Even if the engine is set for XD50, using XD100 will not cause issues. However, you may not experience all the benefits of XD100.

How can I be sure it's the right oil for my Evinrude E-TEC outboard?

All E-TEC engines over 115 HP are designed to use XD100. For E-TEC outboards under 90 HP, you can verify the settings with a diagnostic check at a workshop and, if necessary, change the preference from XD50 to XD100.

Do all G2 engines use XD100?

Yes, all G2 engines use XD100 oil.

Can I get an additional discount?

We offer free shipping in Italy for orders over 69 euros and up to 5 kg in weight. Since oil often exceeds 5 kg, a small contribution will be required for the excess weight.
