LIFOS lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries offer outstanding performance for all applications (except engine starting) and perfectly replace lead acid batteries without affecting the electric installation.
These batteries ensure several advantages over lead batteries:
- 40% weight reduction, doubled charge/discharge cycles at 100% depth of discharge, full recharge with no damage, maintenance free, fast recharge, 99% performance efficiency, more than doubled usable capacity.
A LiFePO4 battery has twice the voltage of a lead battery as well as high and even voltage most of the time. Among the lithium batteries these are the most eco-friendly and can be mounted at all angles.
These batteries can be charged via any battery charger and the integrated BMS-Battery Management System monitors the charge/discharge functions.
Dimensions and (conic) poles are similar to most service batteries used so far.
Up to 4 batteries can be connected in series or in parallel in order to get a 48V battery bank.
Charge state and remaining running time are available in real time on a dedicated App on your smartphone that connects via Bluetooth to the batteries. The App also warns the user to recharge the battery when residual charge is lower than 30%.
